Acid washing is a cleaning process used to remove algae and stains from your pool. While not for every situation, with an acid wash treatment your pool can look like NEW again and at a fraction of the cost of replastering.
In most cases, it takes just 3 days from draining until completion.
The acid washing process begins by washing as much algae off the surface as possible and removing any debris.
In order to prevent any damage to the plaster, we prepare the weakest acid-to-water mixture that will effectively kill the algae.
Once we are satisfied that the algae and stains have been removed, the acid mix is washed out and the surface is neutralized.
Your pool is then re-filled, the equipment is started, and the water is properly balanced.
